Liverpool have slapped a £15 million price tag on the wantway full-back Neco Williams who has gathered high interest from clubs across the country, according to The Liverpool Echo.
Williams was an influential performer for Fulham during the second half of the season at Craven Cottage with Marco Silva’s side gaining promotion to England’s top flight after winning the Championship.
The Welsh international, who featured in his country’s 1-0 win against Ukraine on Sunday, to seal qualification to the World Cup for the first time in 64 years, could be set to make a big decision over his Liverpool this summer, according to the rumour mill.
He has found it hard to secure regular first-team opportunities at Anfield in recent years with Trent Alexander-Arnold firming his role on the starting team sheet for Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool and leaving no room for Williams to fit in.
Fulham, Williams’ former loan club, are credited with a strong interest in re-signing the youngster, this time around on a permanent basis, with the Cottagers looking to bolster their ranks heading into the promotional campaign.
