Liverpool FC completed the signing of 16-year-old Derby County starlet Kaide Gordon and the teenager arrives on Merseyside with huge expectations resting on his young shoulders.
Gordon’s attacking exploits at the youth level for the Rams had convinced Jurgen Klopp of making a move for the highly-promising forward, with the player understood to have been keen on joining the Merseyside outfit rather than agree upon improved and extended terms with the Championship club.

The teenager took to social media on signing his deal with the Premier League holders as reports from the Daily Mail suggest that Klopp and Co. had to fork out a fee worth £1 million upfront to nab the prized signature of the Derby starlet.
His landing at the club would see him link up with a host of talents in the Liverpool FC youth academy ranks, with the likes of Rhys Williams and Curtis Jones being two names who have gathered first-team involvement courtesy of Jurgen Klopp’s faith in their abilities.
