Liverpool FC ace Mohammad Salah has reportedly emerged as a top target for FC Barcelona in this summer’s transfer window.
The 28-year old forward has been in flying form for the Reds of late. Salah’s hat-trick on the opening day of the 2020-21 Premier League season against Leeds United helped Jurgen Klopp’s side steal a narrow one-goal win over the top-flight new-boys.
Salah’s status within world football has been on a constant rise ever since his move to Anfield from AS Roma three summers ago. The Egyptian winger has established his credentials as a truly world-class player in every aspect of an attacker’s game.
New FC Barcelona boss Ronald Koeman is understood to have identified the Reds’ star-forward has a potential signing ahead of the new domestic campaign for the Spanish giants. Moreover, with the looming possibility of Luis Suarez’s exit, Koeman is wanting to replace the aging striker with Salah’s addition to the Camp Nou outfit.
However, any deal involving the Egyptian’s exit from Anfield is tipped to be refused by Jurgen Klopp as well as the Merseyside club’s board of directors. Such is the importance of Salah to the club that he is unlikely to be sold to any other side across Europe in the near future.
