Liverpool target Arnaut Danjuma will not leave Villarreal in the January window despite Jurgen Klopp eyeing up a move for the winger.
The La Liga star forward has been linked with a move to Anfield with the Liverpool camp on the lookout for reinforcements in the final third to bolster the roster at Klopp’s disposal.
Danjuma has been a star turn in Spain’s top flight for Villarreal with nine goals and three assists to his tally making Liverpool keep close tabs on his progress in the build-up to the mid-year transfer window.
According to the Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, however, Liverpool might be forced to delay their plans to launch a bid for their longstanding target with Danjuma set to stay put in the Villarreal colours for the remainder of the 2021-22 campaign.
