Liverpool has set its sights on strengthening its defence ahead of the next season, with the Dutch talent, Dean Huijsen being regarded as the club’s prime target in the summer transfer market.

Dean Huijsen has gradually risen through the ranks to become one of the most promising youngsters in Italian football and may well move to the Premier League soon.
The 19-year-old defender made the switch to the Giallorossi from Juventus in January.

Dean Huijsen has also attracted attention from other clubs; amongst them are Borussia Dortmund of Germany as well as the Newcastle United of England.
His agents are in talks with Juventus to plan his future because the young star is keen on getting more consistent playing time with the first team.
In the previous season, Dean Huijsen featured in 13 Serie A matches for Roma, but since his transfer to Juventus, he has found himself mostly performing in the reserves,
however, he extended his contract with the Old Lady till 2027 last year.

Dean Huijsen is a Netherlands national, who has played in the national team till the Under-19 level, the player currently stands at 6ft 5in tall.
But he too has a Spanish connection being born in Madrid and of Spanish parents who relocated to Marbella when he was five, though he has played for Spain only in the Under-21 category.
