Liverpool are tipped not to make an approach for Chelsea winger Christian Pulisic who has been linked with a move to Merseyside in the recent past.
Sadio Mane’s move to Bayern Munich was confirmed earlier this week with the Senegal international saying his goodbyes to the Anfield fold after a successful six-year stint during which he emerged as one of the top players in the Liverpool shirt.
The Reds boss Jurgen Klopp, despite splashing a potential club-record fee to bring in Benfica dangerman Darwin Nunez this summer to bolster his attacking lineup, was credited with an interest in his former Dortmund forward Pulisic.
Pulisic has struggled for regular first-team football in the English capital city with Tuchel’s Chelsea with the American international’s recurring injury woes and inconsistent form leading to his fall down the pecking order.
Liverpool are not looking at Christian Pulisic as a 'Mane replacement'. They already have Núñez. With Origi Milan-bound another attacking option could still be considered, but I am told it won't be Pulisic.

His joining rivals Liverpool before the summer windows slams shut, however, has been dismissed by CBS Sports’ Ben Jacobs who has claimed that the Reds would not be after another forward player in the transfer window.
