Liverpool are set to rebuff FC Barcelona’s interest in signing Thiago Alcantara who has emerged on the radar of the new boss Xavi at Camp Nou.
The Merseyside giants have no intention of parting ways with the Spain international Thiago who made the move to Anfield only last summer from Bayern Munich and has proven to be an exciting addition to the Liverpool ranks.
Xavi’s appointment to the top job at his former side had given birth to talk that the new hiring was keeping tabs on Thiago, his old teammate in the FC Barcelona shirt between 2009 and 2013.
