Liverpool are set to revisit their longstanding interest in Watford winger Ismalia Sarr with Jurgen Klopp keen on a summer overhaul for his ranks.
The Senegal forward has been a name on the shopping list for the Anfield camp in the recent past but speculation had died down following Liverpool signing Luis Diaz in the January transfer window earlier this year.
Star-studded trio Mohamed Salah, Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane are all in line to enter the final 12 months of their current deals on Merseyside which could convince Klopp of dipping into the market yet again for a fresh face.
According to a report from the Italian news outlet Corriere Dello Sport, it is claimed that despite AC Milan keeping close tabs on the Watford star first-teamer Sarr, Liverpool remain right in the mix for their long-term transfer target.
Sarr’s price tag is rumoured to be worth £41 million which could make things difficult on the transfer front for Liverpool after the club forked out £37.5 million for Diaz’s arrival at Anfield from FC Porto.
