Liverpool are reportedly unlikely to make an official approach for West Ham United star Jarrod Bowen who has been a top name on the Anfield wishlist.
Bowen has earned rave reviews for his displays in the Premier League with the Hammers and has courted the attention of the Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp since this summer’s transfer window.
Klopp’s hunt for reinforcements in the final third has sparked off the speculation that Bowen could be a viable target for the Reds ahead of the January window which opens at the turn of the year.
According to reports from The Liverpool Echo, however, it is claimed that Liverpool are not looking to launch a bid for Bowen’s signature in the winter window despite the long-term future of Divock Origi subject to much talk of late.
The Belgian has got going in front of the goal in recent games but remains a fringe player in the Anfield ranks as Klopp mulls over parting ways with Origi come next summer on a free transfer.
