Liverpool entertains the Cherries as hostilities returns to the Premier League between the two sides (Liverpool and Bournemouth).
Klopp and his side are expected to respond with a positive performance like they have done already in the season. But it’s expected to see how they would do the business at home having lost two successive games on the wad. The defeat to Watford and Chelsea may have created these uncertainties about Liverpool’s ability. This may also be
enhanced as Bournemouth held the might of the Chelsea side at home.
Following the match, we evaluate three players (of Bournemouth) that can haunt the Reds title acceleration this weekend in the Premier League.
JOSHUA KING
The Norwegian striker if he’s fully fit will be a threat to Liverpool’s ambition as they aim to return to winning ways at Anfield. This was evident as he scored in the 57th minute to give the cherries the lead against Frank Lampard’s Chelsea.
He could do the same not minding the fact that Bournemouth is playing away from home as battle looms at Anfield with the Reds.
CALLUM WILSON
The forward would test the central pair of Joe Gomez and Virgil Van Dijk when they face the Reds away from home. His impressive showing may have proved decisive for his Bournemouth side at some point in this season.
This has seen him been linked to Manchester United and other top sides in recent weeks as he aims to make his mark when they take on Jurgen Klopp result seeking Liverpool.
NATHANIEL AKE
The talented left back would be at his best as he’s impressed for the cherries on countless occasions. The former Chelsea man knows Liverpool inside out and this level of awareness could be an added advantage against the opposition Liverpool.
His presence would be worthy of note as they aim to halt Liverpool’s attacking impetus and movement down the Bournemouth defensive area (inside the box).
