Liverpool’s Transfer Target’s Entourage Arrives At Local Airport

According to the latest reports, Bruno Fernandes’ agents have arrived at a local airport near Manchester which has linked the trio of Liverpool, Manchester City and Manchester United to snap up a deal for the Sporting Lisbon midfielder.

After winning the Champions League title by defeating Tottenham Hotspur 2-0 in the final in Madrid, Jurgen Klopp wants his players and the club to use that as a platform to leapfrog success. The Merseyside club is looking to end their 30-year wait for a Premier League title and is keen on ending Manchester City’s dominance in England over the past two years.

The blue half of Manchester are breaking plenty of records over the past two years but this season, Pep Guardiola’s side just managed to keep hold of their title. Liverpool ensured that this season’s title race goes right down to the wire and the final day of the season as they fought tooth and nail for glory in England’s top flight.

One area that Liverpool may need to strengthen over the summer is in the midfield department as most of Klopp’s options are too pragmatic and lacking creativity in the attacking third. The Reds though are now keen on bringing in a top quality midfielder who can add goals and assists as well to the team and the German boss has been eyeing Portuguese star, Bruno Fernandes.

The 24-year-old scored 26 goals last season and laid off a further 13 assists for Sporting Lisbon across all competitions but reports claim that Liverpool has not shown any real concrete interest in luring him to Anfield.

Sporting Lisbon president Frederico Varandas and Sporting Director Hugo Viana were spotted landing at an airport near Manchester in the recent few weeks and that has fueled transfer speculation for the Red Devils.

However, the reports also claim that Manchester City could be interested in signing the Portuguese sensation Fernandes. City has already lured in Rodri from Atletico Madrid last week and may not look to further add Fernandes as Guardiola already has Bernardo Silva, David Silva, Kevin De Bruyne, Riyad Mahrez and Raheem Sterling as attacking options.
