Luis Garcia showers praise on Jurgen Klopp’s impact at the club

Jurgen Klopp’s stock within the football world has been on the rise in recent seasons due to the incredible work done by the German coach at Liverpool FC. The Reds boss has been the subject of praise from all corners of the world, be it Steven Gerrard or Bayern Munich coach Hansi Flick.

And now, former Reds fan-favorite Luis Garcia has hailed the impact of Klopp at the Merseyside club. The former Liverpool FC midfielder stated that Klopp’s influence on the Premier League side was a major contributing factor towards the club being crowned the league champions after a gap of 30 years.

According to Garcia, the Reds manager has instilled a new philosophy to Liverpool FC’s style of play. Klopp’s reign at Anfield has seen the emergence of an attacking brand of football played by the Reds in recent seasons. Liverpool FC’s front three of Roberto Firmino, Sadio Mane, and Mohammad Salah have made their names as one of the best-attacking lineups in world football.

Garcia also pointed out that upon Klopp joining the Reds back in 2015, the German had warned of a transitional period for the Premier League club. The following seasons saw Klopp invest money with extreme tact in signing quality players for Liverpool FC.

Players like Andy Robertson and Xherdan Shaqiri have turned out to be brilliant bargain signings for the Reds. Moreover, Klopp’s decision to entrust youngster Trent Alexander Arnold with responsibility has paid off handsomely for both the player as well as the club.

The 42-year old Garcia, who played more than 80 games for the Reds and was a part of the Liverpool FC side that won the 2005 UEFA Champions League after an iconic final against AC Milan, added that Klopp’s involvement with Liverpool FC has been a monumental success.

Appreciation for Klopp has been coming from many footballing legends in recent times, particularly after Liverpool FC being crowned the 2019-20 Premier League champions. Club legend Sir Kenny Dalglish had been vocal of his praise for the German, stating that Klopp would be regarded as one of the greatest ever managers that Liverpool FC have had in history.
