Marco Grujic speaks on his desire to play for Liverpool FC in the future

Liverpool FC loanee Marko Grujic has stated that he harbors the desire to play for his parent club in the future.

Gurjic, who is currently on loan at Bundesliga club Hertha Berlin, recently came back to action on the football pitch following the resumption of German topflight football after the league was suspended due to the outbreak of the coronavirus outbreak.

Signed from Red Star Belgrade in 2016 by Liverpool FC manager Jurgen Klopp, the Serbian international has made only 14 appearances for the Reds in first-team football competitions. He was shipped off to Championship side Cardiff City for the remainder of the 2017-18 season. After that, the talented midfielder was loaned to German club Hertha Berlin, where he is playing in his second stint as a loanee

The Serbian midfielder was one of the first signings that Jurgen Klopp made when he was hired as the Liverpool FC’s boss in October 2015. Grujic agreed on a deal to sign for the Merseyside club in January 2016 before spending the latter part of the season at Red Star Belgrade. Despite his lack of involvement in the Liverpool FC first team, the midfielder is optimistic about the future. Even in the past, he has said that he hopes to become an integral part of Klopp’s plans for the club and to perform well for the Liverpool FC fans.

Moreover, Grujic stated that despite being in Germany, he has remained in constant contact with several people involved with the Reds. Describing his relationship with the Liverpool FC management as fantastic, Grujic also said that he regularly speaks to Julian Ward, who is the loan partnerships and football partnerships manager of Liverpool FC.

Furthermore, the player also expressed his delight at the Reds’ fantastic Premier League campaign, which has seen them sit in first place in the league table with a lead of 25 points. Describing the performance of the team as unbelievable, Grujic said that the Liverpool FC squad deserved to win the Premier League, which the fans of the English club have been waiting for such a long time. He expressed hope that the Reds’ captain Jordan Henderson will soon be seen lifting the Premier League trophy, which would be an extraordinary moment for all those connected with the club.
