Mohamed Salah was awarded the PFA Premier League Fans’ Player of the Year for his brilliant displays in top flight action this season for Liverpool, confirmed the club’s official website.
The Egypt international was one of the standout figures in the Reds shirt over the course of the league campaign in which Jurgen Klopp’s Merseysiders finished the runners up after the final day drama.

Salah marked his 2021-22 season with a third Premier League Golden Boot to his name, sharing it with Tottenham Hotspur winger Heung-Min Son, with both attackers netting 23 goals to clinch the top honour.
There had been speculation doing the rounds of late that the former AS Roma and Chelsea man will seek greener pastures come the summer but Salah was quick to dispel the rumours by insisting he was staying put for the forthcoming campaign.
Klopp, however, stands to lose out on his long-serving attacking mainstay Sadio Mane with reports claiming that the Senegalese winger is closing in on signing for Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich.
