Mohamed Salah the only Liverpool player nominated for Ballon D’Or

Liverpool have just one player in attacking mainstay Mohamed Salah who was included in the 30-man nomination list for the 2021 Ballon d’Or award.

Salah remains Jurgen Klopp’s most influential presence on the Liverpool team sheet and has enjoyed a superb start to the new campaign in front of the goal with six goals in seven outings.

The Egypt international had finished second in the goalscoring charts for the 2020-21 Premier League season with Spurs talisman Harry Kane winning the Golden Boot by a difference of a sole strike.
