Newcastle United to rival Liverpool’s plans of signing Moises Caicedo

Newcastle United are set to rival Liverpool’s plans of signing Moises Caicedo with Brighton ready to cash in on the young midfielder.

He emerged as a quality performer under the now former Brighton head coach Graham Potter who has since made the move to Stamford Bridge and is keen on a reunion with the midfield talent.

According to a report from The Daily Mirror, it is claimed that Newcastle United are looking to join the chase for the Brighton wantaway star with Eddie Howe on the hunt for reinforcements to freshen his engine room.

The  20-year-old Ecuador midfield is understood to be on the radar at Anfield with Jurgen Klopp, whose side have endured a horrid start to the new season, searching for a viable signing to bolster the roster.

Manchester United and Arsenal are the other contenders in the race for the South Coast starlet who, on the back of his stellar run of displays, has earned a big-ticket move elsewhere with some of England’s biggest clubs taking note of his ability.
