Paris Saint-Germain superstar Neymar has showered praise on Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool FC side that stormed to the Premier League title last season. The 28-year old attacker branded the style of play associated with the Anfield outfit as ‘attractive’.
The Brazilian international believes that the Anfield giants have been one of the best teams in world football over the past two seasons. Neymar also tipped the Reds to defend their Premier League crown in the upcoming 2020-21 league campaign for the Merseyside giants.
“Over the last two seasons Liverpool have played some of the best football in Europe.
“Their coach has built a strong team and next season I am sure they will be very competitive again.”
Klopp’s men have been indeed been relentless in their pursuit to achieve dominance both domestically and continentally these last two seasons, winning the Premier League, UEFA Champions League, UEFA Super Cup, and the FIFA Club World Cup in the process.
And the success achieved by Liverpool FC in such a short span of time has been acknowledged by the world’s most expensive player. Neymar was full of praise for a Reds side that includes his fellow Brazilllian national teammates Alisson, Roberto Firmino, and Fabinho.
“Last season winning the Champions League and this season winning a league was strong, because they won the Premier League so comfortably.
The PSG forward is set to feature in the UEFA Champions League final when his side goes up against Bayern Munich on Sunday. Neymar will be hoping to win Europe’s most prestigious club competition a second time when he takes the field against Hansi Flick’s men, having won it once before with FC Barcelona.
