The third round fixture list of the EFL Cup pits Liverpool against their opening day opponents Norwich City at Carrow Road this Tuesday evening.
Jurgen Klopp’s Merseysiders have been in fine form of late and have maintained an unbeaten start across all competitions this new season which was further extended last time around on Saturday with a win over Crystal Palace.
Goals from African star trio Sadio Mane, Mohamed Salah and Naby Keita claimed all three points for the Anfield giants on their patch against a hapless Eagles outfit who rarely threatened when going forward.
Klopp will be hopeful of his players to deliver another solid showing, this time on the road to the under-fire Norwich City side, who sit bottom of the Premier League table five games into their return to England’s top flight.
15 – Norwich have lost each of their last 15 @premierleague games under Daniel Farke; this is now the longest losing run by any side in English top-flight history under a single manager. Woes. pic.twitter.com/pnut2KOlwp
