Official – Ryan Kent Joins Glasgow Rangers

Premier League giants Liverpool have confirmed that young midfielder Ryan Kent has officially joined Glasgow Rangers on a permanent deal earlier today.

Jurgen Klopp is planning on downsizing his team and keep as few players as possible in his youth set up and offload the ones that do not have a future at the club. With the European transfer window closing on September 2nd, the German boss has decided to sell off a few players to raise a few funds as well.

The most recent player to leave Liverpool is Ryan Kent after the Scotsman returned to his native to play his football in the Scottish Premier League with Glasgow Rangers. The 22-year-old star started off his Liverpool career as an academy graduate at the age of seven and then progressed through the ranks to make his senior debut for the club in an FA Cup tie against Exeter City in January 2016.

Kent gained further experience through loan spells at Coventry City, Bristol City, Barnsley, Freiburg, and a great season with Rangers last term under Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard. Kent made 40 appearances in the Scottish Premier League and scored six goals as well to win the PFA Scotland Young Player of the year award.

And now Kent has finally agreed to return to Rangers on a permanent deal by leaving Liverpool on the final day of the transfer window. Liverpool accepted a £7 million deal from Rangers for the services of Kent.
