Real Madrid are reportedly fretting over Liverpool’s approach for Aurelien Tchouameni with the midfielder a top name on the wishlist for Carlo Ancelotti.
The Spanish champions are in the transfer market this summer for a new midfield signing to bolster their squad ahead of the new season and speculation suggests that Ancelotti has zeroed in on Tchouameni’s signature.
According to a report from Marca, it is claimed that the AS Monaco star first-team regular is courted heavily by the Santiago Bernebeu giants who have had to fend off competition from Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool side.
Klopp’s hunt for reinforcements in midfield has taken him to the in-demand Tchouameni with the Liverpool boss hoping to pip Real Madrid, whom his side face in the Champions League final later this week, to sign the 23-year-old France international maestro.
Tchouameni is yet to arrive at a definitive decision which complicates matters for Real Madrid who are now aware of Liverpool being joined by other heavyweights from England’s top flight in the chase for one of the most coveted names in the market.
