La Liga heavyweights Real Madrid are reportedly keen on making a cash-plus-Eden Hazard offer for Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah, according to Turkish journalist Ekrem Konur.
Salah’s future at Anfield beyond the summer of 2022 has become the subject of intense speculation with the 29-year-old demanding a hike in his wages to pen a new deal with Jurgen Klopp’s side.
The Liverpool boss Klopp, meanwhile, has played down concerns over his star player’s future in the Reds shirt with Klopp insisting that the club’s board was working hard to tie down Salah to a long-term extension.
Real Madrid’s admiration of Salah has been well documented in the recent past and Konur’s reports have suggested that the Spanish giants are interested in offloading former Chelsea man Eden Hazard to Merseyside in a cash-plus-player offer to land Salah’s signature.
Hazard has failed to hit the ground running in his usual fashion since leaving Stamford Bridge in 2019 to make the move to his long-term suitors in the market Real Madrid in a big-money deal.
