Real Madrid keeping tabs on Liverpool frontman Darwin Nunez

Real Madrid are keeping tabs on Liverpool frontman Darwin Nunez with the European champions on the hunt for attacking reinforcements ahead of summer 2023.

Nunez made the move to Anfield only last summer in a club-record deal for the Reds who splashed the cash on snapping up the Uruguay international forward from Benfica ahead of rivals Manchester United.

Arsenal’s Gabriel Jesus, Tottenham Hotspur’s Richarlison and PSV Eindhoven’s Cody Gakpo are the other players on Real Madrid’s radar with the La Liga giants planning to fork out big on recruiting a big-name forward to add to Carlo Ancelotti’s side.

According to a report from the Spanish news outlet Defensa Central ( via The Echo), Real Madrid have earmarked Nunez as one of the names on their shortlist of potential future targets to bolster their front line in the forthcoming transfer windows.

The recent injury to Real’s talisman Karim Benzema could force the Santiago Bernebeu outfit into the market for a new striker with the club president Florentino Perez likely to move in for Nunez or the others sooner rather than later.
