Liverpool will need to shell out a €20 million transfer fee to land Real Madrid outcast Isco who has now emerged as one of the names being linked with a move to Anfield this summer.
Jurgen Klopp is yet to make a major splash in the ongoing transfer window after bringing in the highly-rated French centre-back Ibrahima Konate earlier this summer and the Reds gaffer could do with some fresh blood in his midfield department.
Gini Wijnaldum’s exit from Anfield has left the Liverpool midfield with a major void to fill and as doubts linger over the long-term future of skipper Jordan Henderson, Klopp has been backed to bring in a new player to bolster his ranks before the transfer window slams shut.
Reports from Calciomercato claim that Isco’s signature is in line to cost the Liverpool camp €20 million with Real Madrid keen on shipping out the Spanish playmaker who has drastically fallen down the pecking order in recent seasons.
Liverpool’s interest in signing the 29-year-old Isco is understood to be challenged by the likes of Arsenal and AC Milan both of whom will be looking to add to their attacking options by snapping up the Spaniard in a cut-price deal.
