Liverpool’s main man Mohamed Salah could be subject to a big-money offer from Real Madrid who look set to shift attention towards the Egyptian winger from their top target Kylian Mbappe.
Reports from The Express claim that with Paris Saint-Germain’s plans of drawing up a new deal for Mbappe to extend his stay at the French outfit, Real Madrid could find it very difficult to sign their long-term target heading into the start of the new season.
Salah too has been linked with a move to the Spanish giants in the past and with the 29-year-old yet to sign a contract extension at Anfield to commit his long-term future in the Liverpool shirt, Carlo Ancelotti, Real Madrid’s newly appointed boss, will be keeping tabs on the former Chelsea man this summer.
Jurgen Klopp is understood to be reluctant on sanctioning the sale of his star first-team regular but with Salah Real Madrid president Perez’s second choice after the PSG superstar Mbappe, the La Liga side are expected to go all out for the Egypt international who would be a major addition to Ancelotti’s men.
Real Madrid have been after Salah for a long time but the much younger option in the World Cup-winning Frenchman Kylian Mbappe remained their priority target for the summer transfer window.
