Sadio Mane finally opens up on bust-up with Salah

Liverpool superstar Sadio Mane has opened up about his angry outburst during Liverpool’s victory over Burnley.

The Senegal international was substituted in the closing stages and proceeded to shout and throw his training jacket to the floor as he took his place on the bench. Mane was furious with Mo Salah because of his perceived selfishness

Liverpool won their 15th Premier League game in a row when they beat Newcastle United 3-1 at home, with both Mane and Salah getting on the scoresheet, Mane scored a brace while Salah scored Liverpool’s third of the game.

Following the game Mane said in an interview, ‘With Salah? It’s forgotten,’

‘These are things that happen in football. Sometimes you have to say things face to face. Sometimes it happens that I am not given the pass.

‘But we have reconciled and become the good friends we were before.’

Mane has now scored six goals in six games this season and will have one eye on the golden boot.

Liverpool is sitting pretty at the top of the table with five wins in five games and is now five points ahead of title rivals and defending champions Manchester City who lost 3-2 against newly promoted side Norwich City at Carrow Road on Saturday.

Liverpool will travel to Naples to play Napoli in UEFA Champions League on Wednesday before they take on Frank Lampard’s Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Sunday.
