Sadio Mane Speaks On Liverpool Future

Liverpool forward Sadio Mane has warned other clubs across the world to end any hopes of trying to sign him as he is extremely happy at Anfield.

Jurgen Klopp is creating something wonderful at Liverpool over the past few seasons and lad them to the most successful season last term ever since the club was formed as they recorded a staggering 97 points but still finished second, just one point behind Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City in the title race. But the Merseyside giants managed to win the Champions League title last term in fairytale fashion and Senegalese star Sadio Mane has been integral to Liverpool’s rise over the past few seasons.

Mane shared the Golden Boot with his African club mate Mohamed Salah last season but the duo was involved in a bit of a tiff in the game against Burnley which sparked rumors that Mane could be leaving Liverpool. There is no shortage of takers for Mane as La Liga giants Real Madrid have made it no secret that they are interested in securing the services of the 27-year-old winger.

However, Mane has reiterated his future by claiming that he is extremely happy at Liverpool and dreams of winning the Premier League title with the Merseyside outfit. In a recent interview Mane said, “I really struggle to describe how happy I am to be here. To be honest, I’m really happy to be a part of the club, the family here. We have the best fans in the world here, so I’m always so thankful for the support. It’s not just great for me too – it gives the whole squad more motivation to perform. It keeps us hungry to get better and better together”

Mane also explained that he is desperate to end Liverpool’s drought for the Premiership as he stated, “It’s very early to say of course, but our target, as everyone knows, is to win the league this season. We’re targeting the Champions League as well. From a young age, it’s been my dream to win these kinds of trophies. I’m in a good stage of my career for sure, and I feel the whole squad is thinking the exact same right now. I’m trying to keep up my consistency now, and just work hard to keep up the high levels expected of us.”
