Spanish outfit Sevilla are understood to be in line for making a double swoop for Liverpool FC fringe first-team duo Xherdan Shaqiri and Takumi Minamino in the summer.
According to reports from Metro, both players do not seem to have a long-term future in the Reds shirt beyond the close of this campaign and Jurgen Klopp would be open to sanctioning their departure should he receive an appropriate offer.
Minamino exited Anfield on deadline day in the January transfer window for Premier League side Southampton, signing for the Saints on a short-term loan agreement as he struggled for first-team minutes in the Liverpool FC colours.
The Japan international has adapted to new surroundings well at St. Mary’s and having established starting credentials, Minamino would be hopeful of being courted by a number of clubs upon the end of his loan deal.
Shaqiri, meanwhile, has seen action here and there in recent times and despite some positive showings from the Swiss international, speculation claims that he too would keen to leave Merseyside this summer in order to further his game time.
