Atalanta ace Teun Koopmeiners recently revealed that he is ready to move this summer and this has caught the attention of several Italian and English clubs.
Chelsea, Liverpool and Juventus are the most concerned clubs among these since they have been scouting the player for a long time. The Dutch star’s contract with the Serie A side will end in 2027.
The 26-year-old has accepted that he is ready to stay in Italy or adjust to the rainy climate of England. The Reds’ fans will be very pleased to hear this since they have a real chance to sign the versatile midfielder this summer.
However, Atlanta may ask for a fee of around 60 million euros. As per Corriere dello Sport, Koopmeiners might prefer to move to Juventus since he is comfortable staying in Italy.
Juve needs a new midfielder who has enough league experience and the Atalanta star fits the criteria. The player himself will have a swift and comfortable transition since he doesn’t need to move to a foreign league.

Koopmeiners earns about 1.5 million per season at Atalanta and he might get triple that amount of salary at the Allianz Arena (4-4.5 million).
The major obstacle is whether the Bianconeri agree to their rivals’ transfer fee demands. They would be careful not to shell out more than 80% of their summer budget on negotiations.
They have better alternatives to go for and if their fierce rivals don’t budge on their transfer fee then they might move away from this deal.

Liverpool might have a more clear path in this case since they have the financial flexibility to strike a deal.
The race to sign the Dutch star will heat up as months pass by. The five stripes might be using this situation to their advantage and gain maximum profit from any potential suitor.
Koopmeiners could be used as regular defensive midfielder as Endo is into his 30s. The club can easily extract four to five years from the Serie A star.
