Torino central defender Gleison Bremer remains on Liverpool’s transfer radar with Manchester United and Manchester City also joining the race for his signature.
According to reports from the Italian news outlet Calcio Mercato, the Reds camp are keeping tabs on the Serie A defensive talent but will face competition from their domestic rivals in Manchester to land the player.
Bremer has been linked with a move to Anfield in the recent past but that was before Jurgen Klopp brought in Ibrahima Konate from RB Leipzig in a big-money deal this summer to bolster his options at the back.
The 24-year-old Torino man is understood to be wanting a move away from Italy and is backed to rebuff attempts to pen a new deal as rumours suggest a switch to England’s top flight could be on the cards for Bremer come January.
Liverpool could be forced to shell out a transfer fee north of £20 million with Torino likely to sanction their star defender’s sale amid growing interest in his services from the Premier League.
