Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly weighing up a move for Liverpool target Franck Kessie who is set to call it quits at AC Milan at the end of the season.
The Ivory Coast international midfield maestro is looking to seek a move elsewhere and Jurgen Klopp’s camp at Anfield are backed to position themselves as suitors in the fray for the player’s signature.
Liverpool, however, are in line to be overtaken by domestic rivals Tottenham Hotspur in the race to sign Kessie with the North Londoners gaining ground in their attempts to snap up the Serie A star midfielder.
According to reports from The Daily Express, it is claimed that Spurs are ahead of Premier League trio Arsenal, Manchester United and Liverpool in the pecking order for Kessie’s favoured destination in England’s top flight.
Kessie will be free to enter into talks with the other clubs for pre-contract terms come January 1 when the transfer window reopens and Spurs will look to emerge clear frontrunners for one of the most coveted signatures in the market
