English giants Liverpool face Toulouse in their next Europa League away match at Stadium Municipal on Thursday.
The French side got off to a good start in their Europa League campaign with four points from their first two games, but they faced a heavy defeat at Anfield.
They managed to secure a draw against Union Saint-Gilloise and a 1-0 win at home against LASK. However, they’ve been struggling in their domestic league, with just two wins in their first eleven Ligue 1 matches.
Meanwhile, Liverpool are dominating Europa League Group E, winning all three of their initial matches. They recently defeated Toulouse 5-1 in their previous encounter and have been in excellent form throughout the season.
Their only loss this season was a controversial 2-1 defeat to Tottenham, a match where they ended with only 9 players on the field.
Jurgen Klopp’s team will continue to be without Andrew Robertson, Stefan Bajcetic, and Thiago Alcantara. Furthermore, Luis Diaz is still dealing with personal matters and its uncertain whether he will available for the upcoming matches.
Andrew Robertson is still recovering from his shoulder operation, and Curtis Jones had a minor fitness issue but might be available to play against Toulouse. Whether he starts the game is uncertain, but Klopp will make his usual changes.
Predicted Liverpool lineup against Toulouse:
Alisson Becker, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Ibrahima Konate, Virgil Van Dijk, Joe Gomes, Dominik Szoboszlai, Alexis Mac Allister, Ryan Gravenberch, Mohamed Salah, Diogo Jota, Luis Diaz
