Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool will be hoping to land their first piece of silverware this season when they face Chelsea in the UEFA Super Cup in Istanbul.
The Reds are expected to go all out on Frank Lampard’s Chelsea team and two players will be vital for Liverpool on either end of the pitch. Those two players are Virgil Van Dijk and Mohamed Salah and the duo will have to be at their best if they are going to win the Super Cup.

As the battle ensues between both sides Chelsea would need more fireworks to break down the Liverpool defense marshaled by the Dutch the central defender. Van Dijk’s influence would be vital even as Chelsea aim redemption against the Reds that seem confidence ahead of the kick-off.
As the match draws near Jürgen Klopp would be looking forward to the clash bearing in mind he’s got a solid center back in Van Dijk to rely on. All this and more comes into play as they face Chelsea in the all-important match.
Mohamed Salah
The stage is set for Liverpool hitman Mo Salah alongside Sadio Mane as Jürgen Klopp’s unleash his African threat against the Chelsea side. The player provides the much-needed confidence as well as the fear factor as he was on the score sheet against newly-promoted Norwich side.
Chelsea would have it all to do to stop the Egyptian as his combination with Mane can be devastating going forward as we’ve seen in the past. The Egyptian winger is tearing up records at Anfield and looks set to produce some magic against his former club.
