Liverpool have been approached by West Ham United who are keeping close tabs on Anfield outcast Divock Origi with the hopes of landing his signature this summer.
Reports from Football Insider claim that The Hammers are maintaining a strong interest in signing the Belgium international who has seen limited first-team action coming his way in recent seasons on Merseyside.
Origi had been heavily backed to call it quits at Anfield in this summer’s transfer window but the forward player has been unable to find suitors in the transfer market with Liverpool holding out for an ambitious asking price to sanction his sale.
West Ham United are rumoured to have touched base with Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool camp over a possible deal for Origi’s move to the capital city which could fetch a cash-strapped Reds a fee worth £15 million which is lower than their earlier valuation for the former Lille man.
Liverpool have been linked with a host of attacking players in the market so far this summer but Jurgen Klopp is yet to bring in fresh blood with the Liverpool boss focused on outgoings before signing new faces.
