Liverpool booked their berth in the fourth round of the FA Cup with a first half strike from Harvey Elliott securing a 1-0 win away at Wolves on Tuesday.

It was a slow start to the third round replay fixture before Harvey Elliott broke the deadlock in the 13th minute with a superb strike to put his side ahead.
The teenage talent collected the ball in his own half and went through on goal with his shot from 25 yards out ending up in the back of the net past the Wolves goalie Jose Sa.
Liverpool full back Tsimikas could have doubled the lead just minutes later after being teed up by Carvalho but the former’s effort went over the bar.
New boy Cody Gakpo came close to scoring with the Dutch forward’s strike fractions over while Carvalho’s goal was ruled out as the Portuguese was flagged offside.
The visitors got the second period underway in a strong fashion with Naby Keita firing his effort wide of the post before Gakpo forced Sa into action with a fine save.
Liverpool had a triple change off the bench after the hour mark as Mohamed Salah, Nathaniel Phillips and Curtis Jones came on with Jurgen Klopp’s men hanging onto a slender one goal lead.
The home side upped the pressure in the closing stages of the game as Kelleher tipped Ruben Neves’ free-kick over the bar while new signing Cunha fired over with Liverpool getting past the finish line to advance to the next round.
