Atletico Madrid vs Liverpool Preview, Team News and Prediction | UCL 21-22

La Liga champions Atletico Madrid are the next opponents for Jurgen Klopp’s high-flying Liverpool side in the Champions League this Tuesday night.

The Reds handed a thumping defeat to the league’s new boys Watford last time around with Roberto Firmino’s hat-trick and goals apiece from his strike partners Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah securing the 5-0 win at Vicarage Road.

Atletico Madrid, however, will prove to be a much tougher side to break down for Jurgen Klopp and Co. with the Spanish heavyweights likely to play spoilsport to Liverpool’s hopes of extending their unbeaten run.

The return of Brazil international duo Alisson and Fabinho will be a major boost for the visitors to Madrid for the midweek contest as Klopp deals with increasing concerns on the injury front within his ranks.
