Liverpool keeping tabs on Inter Milan contract rebel Marcelo Brozovic

Liverpool are understood to be keeping tabs on Inter Milan contract rebel Marcelo Brozovic who is out of contract at San Siro next summer.

The Croatian international midfield man has been a stellar performer for the Serie A giants in the recent past and a host of top clubs across Europe are credited with a strong interest in securing his services when his deal with Inter runs out.

Reports from Spanish news outlet RAC1 (via Calciomercato) claim that Liverpool’s interest in landing Brozovic’s signature next summer will be given tough competition from the likes of FC Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain.

Jurgen Klopp has been backed to bring in a fresh face for his midfield department following the exit of the long-serving Gini Wijnaldum this summer with the Liverpool boss postponing his plans to sign a replacement for the outgoing Dutchman.

Brozovic’s availability next summer on a free transfer will surely make the 28-year-old a viable target for Klopp to eye up a move for with the Reds likely to ring in changes in the transfer window to bolster their Anfield ranks.
