Liverpool hoping to pocket £12 million from the sale of the wantaway centre-back Nat Phillips who has courted interest from England and abroad this summer.
The 25-year-old central defender spent the second half of last season on loan at Bournemouth, playing an important role in the Cherries clinching promotion to the top flight, and is set for a return to Anfield in the forthcoming weeks for pre-season.
Phillips has his admirers in England and Germany, according to a report from Goal, but his suitors stand a chance to land his coveted signature for an offer of £12 million which Liverpool are on the lookout for.
He would be expected to take part in the forthcoming pre-season with Klopp’s first-team side but a move away from Anfield before the summer window slams shut is well on the cards for the ex-Stuttgart and Bournemouth loanee.
Bournemouth, back in the Premier League next term, are credited with a strong interest in moving in for the Liverpool defender with the Cherries mulling over making a loan bid for the centre-back.
