Real Madrid are likely to spoil Liverpool’s long-standing plans of moving in for the Borussia Dortmund talent Jude Bellingham next summer.
Bellingham is understood to be a top name on the shopping list for the Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp who is backed to reinforce his side’s midfield options in the summer of 2023 after deciding against doing it this time around.
Injuries to Thiago Alcantara, Curtis Jones and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain have meant that Klopp is short on quality options in midfield for the newly commenced season but the Reds manager has asserted he is not on the lookout for a fresh face.
With Liverpool expected to step up their approach for the England international Bellingham next summer, Liverpool ECHO’s Charlotte Coates has claimed that European champions Real Madrid too will look to bring in the Dortmund sensation.
Real have been credited with a strong interest in signing the 19-year-old midfield maestro and would be hoping to pip Liverpool to offer Bellingham the much lucrative chance to make the move to the Santiago Bernebeu.
