Liverpool midfielder Naby Keita is considering a return to Germany this summer with his former side RB Leipzig among those vying for his signature.
Keita’s current deal at Anfield is due to expire at the end of the season and despite the Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp keen to hand him fresh terms, the player’s lack of regular game time remains an issue in the contract extension talks.
According to a report from 90min, it is claimed that Keita is fielding offers from around the continent with some of the Premier League clubs also keeping tabs on him ahead of this summer when he enters free agency.
It is understood that the former Leipzig man was concerned after missing out on a starting spot in the Champions League final defeat to Real Madrid last season in spite of Keita’s good run of form during that time.
Milan and Inter are in the fray, and so are Tottenham Hotspur with all clubs tempted to snap up Keita on a free transfer as Liverpool mull over parting ways with him and look elsewhere for a replacement.
