Liverpool’s On Loan Wonderkid Harry Wilson Wants A Return

Welsh superstar Harry Wilson has stated that he does not want to play his long-term football at Derby County and wants to return to Liverpool next season.

Due to Liverpool’s impressive attackers that reached the Champions League final last term, Harry Wilson was sent out on loan to Derby County. Boasting attacking superstars like Roberto Firmino, Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane, Xherdan Shaqiri and even Daniel Sturridge, there was only a little possibility that young starlet Harry Wilson would get the opportunity to perform.

But after being sent out on loan to Derby County since the start of the season, Wilson has proved that he would provide a good challenge for a starting berth. Wilson scored a stunning free-kick against Manchester United in the League Cup that helped knock out Jose Mourinho’s side from the competition. Having made a huge impact at the Championship club, Wilson has revealed that he does not plan on staying at Frank Lampard’s club for too long.

In a recent conversation with news outlet the Express, the 21 year old winger Wilson stated that he has extremely ambitious long-term plans with Liverpool, “I sat down with Jurgen Klopp at Melwood in the summer and we both agreed after doing well at Hull last season it would be good to be on loan again and playing regularly. There were plenty of clubs wanting me but as soon as my agent Lee Robinson told me Derby were interested I had a good feeling.”

Wilson was then asked whether he is keen on reuniting with close friends Trent Alexander Arnold and Joe Gomez back at Merseyside to which he replied, “That’s the aim. I’ll be looking at Trent and Joe today hoping I’m playing with them next season. It’s nice to see young lads doing well but when it’s your mates you have grown up and played with it makes it even better. When you get a chance on loan you have to shine so when I do go back I’ll be in better shape to impress the manager.”

Wilson looks like he is too good to be playing his football in the Championship and deserves more game time in the Premier League. It will be a good headache for Klopp to have when Wilson returns from his loan spell as the Welshman is getting better and better with each passing day.
