Liverpool have been credited with an interest in signing Napoli midfielder Piotr Zielinski who has been linked with a move to Anfield in the past.
The Reds are in dire need of reinforcements to bolster their midfield roster over the summer and with long standing target Jude Bellingham no longer under consideration, Jurgen Klopp will have other options on his shopping list.
According to a report from Meczykipl ( via The Liverpool Echo), it is claimed that the Merseysiders are keeping tabs on the 28-year-old Poland international Zielinski following his stellar Serie A winning campaign with Napoli.
Zielinski’s current terms in Italy are up for renewal next year and with no headway made on an extension with the newly crowned champions Napoli, Liverpool are hoping to table an approach for his services at the end of the season.
Liverpool’s other targets include the likes of Alexis Mac Allister and Mason Mount with both high up on their wishlist with the latter mulling over signing for Liverpool from arch rivals Chelsea.
