Adrian set to extend stay at Anfield beyond the summer with Kelleher to go out on loan

Liverpool No.2 Adrian is willing to rebuff offers from Spain to extend his stay at Anfield beyond this summer with Caoimhin Kelleher set to take the exit door in a loan deal.

The Reds had been tipped to lose out on the 34-year-old Adrian amid interest shown in the former West Ham United man from La Liga outfit Real Betis but it seems as if the goalkeeper has had a sudden change of heart and will be putting pen to paper on a new deal on Merseyside.

The 22-year-old Caoimhin Kelleher, however, is the one who will be leaving Anfield this summer albeit on a temporary basis with the Irish shot-stopper who grabbed multiple outings this past season wanting to increase his minutes on the pitch, according to reports from the Daily Mail.

Jurgen Klopp has another decision to make concerning his options between the sticks as the Anfield outcast Loris Karius returns to the fold ahead of the next season with talk of the German being wanted by Stuttgart gaining ground in recent times.

Karius is unlikely to feature again for Liverpool and with the summer transfer window underway, Klopp will be forced to offload him to add to his budget for the window and bring in new signings.
