Liverpool star Trent Alexander-Arnold described his England team-mate, Jadon Sancho, as “a special, special, special, special talent,” and admitted that he would improve the Reds’ squad
The Reds’ right-back would love if it Borussia Dortmund’s Jadon Sancho joins Liverpool, as Alexander-Arnold hailed the 20-year-old winger as a special talent.
The young English attacker has been linked with a move back to the Premier League, although fierce rivals Manchester United are believed to be in pole position to land Sancho at Old Trafford.
However, Sancho’s international team-mate Alexander-Arnold would be keen to play alongside the winger at a club level. Sancho joined Bundesliga side Dortmund from Manchester City in the summer of 2017.
While speaking to Michael Dapaah in an Instagram Live chat, the 21-year-old Alexander-Arnold revealed that Sancho would improve the Liverpool squad and the defender would be happy if he arrived at Anfield, “If he came to us, he’d make our team better, So, I’d be more than happy for him to come because I played with him at England and he’s a special, special, special, special talent.”
Sancho was enjoying an incredible season with Dortmund under Lucien Favre before the campaign was suspended early in March due to the coronavirus outbreak. In 23 Bundesliga games, Sancho had scored 14 goals and provided 15 assists aiding the Black and Yellows to 2nd on the table
However, Alexander-Arnold hasn’t been the only player courting Sancho’s attention in recent days as Chelsea winger Callum Hudson-Odoi is also monitoring his international teammate.
