Liverpool can consider themselves out of the fray to sign Bayern Munich’s wantaway first-team star Kingsley Coman with the Bavarian giants seeking an offer in the region of €100 million for the player’s sale.
The France international has been backed to call it quits at Germany in this summer’s transfer window following his demands for a major wage bump not being deemed a priority by Bayern officials.
With interest brewing in Coman from the likes of Liverpool and Chelsea, reports from Sky Germany suggest that Bayern Munich’s €100 million price tag for the forward is sure to make it clear to the interested parties to withdraw their interest.
Coman enjoyed a rather misfiring season in front of the goal last time around and with reports of his big-money valuation coming through, Jurgen Klopp’s Merseyside outfit will be backed to pull the plug on any future negotiations ahead of the next campaign’s start.
The Reds have been tipped to use the transfer window to bring in a new forward player to bolster their attacking line in light of strong speculation that Xherdan Shaqiri will be on his way out of Anfield.
