Liverpool to offer Bayern Munich wantaway star Kingsley Coman an escape route

Kingsley Coman is set to be offered an escape route this summer by Jurgen Klopp and Liverpool who have joined the fray for the Bayern Munich contract rebel.

Coman’s demand for a major wage bump has not gone down particularly well with the Bayern board and should the France international not subside his salary wants in time for the start of the new season, the Bundesliga giants might be forced to sanction his sale in the ongoing summer window.

Chelsea and Manchester United are two clubs believed to have registered their interest in signing the 24-year-old whose game-time was curtailed last season following Leroy Sane’s move to the Allianz Arena.

Reports from Spanish outlet Fichajes claim that the Reds are the latest entrants in what could ultimately prove to be a major bidding war between England’s biggest sides, each of whom wants to bring in the highly-talented forward in Coman.

Jurgen Klopp is understood to be on the lookout for attacking reinforcement this summer, especially as Xherdan Shaqiri seeks an Anfield exit, and rumours suggest Coman will be high on Klopp’s wishlist should he be made available for a reasonable fee.
