Borussia Dortmund have reportedly joined Liverpool in the chase for Chelsea’s Conor Gallagher’s signature ahead of the summer transfer window.
Gallagher has been linked with a move to the Merseyside later this year with Chelsea likely to part company with the promising England midfielder as the Blues look to trim down their squad size and avoid potential FFP issues.
News #Gallagher: He’s on the list of #BVB confirmed. They are monitoring his situation. But nothing advanced at this stage. No concrete talks. His future at Chelsea is open. Understand he could really leave Chelsea in summer. Valuation of around €50m. #CFC @SkySportDE 🏴 pic.twitter.com/58wiL4kqRs

According to a report from the Sky reporter Florian Plettenberg, it is claimed that Bundesliga title contenders Dortmund are weighing up a move for Gallagher who is set to be made available come the end of the season.
This could play spoilsport to Liverpool’s plans of signing the 23-year-old who has emerged as a viable alternative to Liverpool’s long-standing target – the Dortmund sensation Jude Bellingham – who is believed to be no longer of interest to the Anfield camp.
Gallagher’s valuation appears to be in the €50 million range, which could prompt Liverpool to step up their efforts while Newcastle United and Dortmund too wait eagerly in the wings.
