Liverpool goalkeeper Loris Karius is of interest to German side Stuttgart who are reportedly keen on bringing back the shot-stopper to his homeland in the upcoming summer transfer window.
Reports from Berliner-Kurier claim that the Bundesliga club have been keeping tabs on the 27-year-old Karius who has not played a competitive fixture in the Liverpool colours since that infamous Champions League final of 2018.
Karius has been away on loan this season at Union Berlin but has made just four top-flight outings during his time there which has led to speculation of his return to Anfield in the summer where he faces an increasingly uncertain future.
Jurgen Klopp is highly unlikely to extend any first-team involvement to Karius with the likes of Adrian and Caoimhin Kelleher proving able replacements for the usual No.1 Alisson Becker between the sticks when the latter has been injured.
The Reds boss is likely to head into the transfer window ahead of the next season with a limited list of options on his wishlist with Brighton’s Yves Bissouma one such name that has been linked with an Anfield switch following his influential form all season for the Seagulls.
