Anfield outcast Marko Grujic is understood to be halfway out the exit door at the club with Portuguese outfit FC Porto in pole position to sign the Serbian international midfielder in this summer’s transfer window.
However, reports from Sport Witness claim that FC Porto are holding out for Liverpool to reduce their asking price for Grujic who is not backed to have a future on Merseyside heading into the start of the new season,
Jurgen Klopp is believed to have given his nod for the club to sanction Grujic’s sale which will earn the Liverpool boss some respite on the financial front to finance the top names on his shopping list as he eyes up reinforcements in the centre of the park and out on the flanks.

Grujic has staged a return to the Anfield fold in the pre-season camp that kicked off for Liverpool recently but the 25-year-old central midfield player has his heart set on sealing a permanent transfer to Porto where he spent a season-long loan spell last season.
Liverpool’s demand of being offered €17 million is reportedly an issue for FC Porto who are stalling the transfer agreement as of late in the hopes of luring the Merseysiders into accepting a cut-price deal for Grujic.
