On the back of a fantastic 2019-20 league campaign for Jurgen Klopp’s men, five players of the title-winning Liverpool FC side were named in the PFA Team of the Year for last season on Tuesday.

Jordan Henderson, Virgil van Dijk, Trent Alexander Arnold, Andy Robertson, and Sadio Mane, were the Reds’ stars occupying five of the 11 slots in the PFA given award which is announced prior to the start of the following league campaign.
It is a second successive year for the quartet of Van Dijk, Arnold, Robertson, and Mane to be honoured with a place in the XI. All four players had been named in the 2018-19 PFA Team of the Year as well last season in which Liverpool FC had finished second in the final league standings, just a point adrift of Manchester City.
However, for the Merseyside giants’ skipper Jordan Henderson, it is the first time for him in a nine-year spell across playing in the Premier League for Liverpool FC that the 30-year old midfielder is among the 11 quality talents to be chosen by the PFA.
