The former Reds trio of Steven Gerrard, Robbie Fowler and Michael Owen have secured nominations in the newly formed Premier League Hall of Fame which inducted its first two members in Alan Shearer and Thiery Henry on Monday.
Gerrard, Fowler and Owen have all been heroes at Anfield in their respective spells in the Liverpool FC shirt with the former being a long-term pillar in the centre of the park for the Merseysiders before moving to the United States to join LA Galaxy.

Reports from Sky Sports claim that the aforementioned three names are amongst a 23-man shortlist that includes the likes of Eric Cantona, John Terry and Frank Lampard.
A public vote would be called for the additional six inductees into the Hall of Fame with the voting ending on May 9.
Liverpool FC fans would be hoping for their former favorites to secure entry into the much-coveted list with Gerrard, now the Rangers boss and often backed to succeed Jurgen Klopp at Anfield, being tipped as a frontrunner to be inducted into the Premier League Hall of Fame.
